Syracuse University Research in Physics

The Syracuse University Physics Department offers a six-week paid research experience for Syracuse City High School physics students.

Benefits and Conditions

Students are expected to make a full-time commitment, typically 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Students are paid a competitive summer stipend.

Transportation to and from the Physics Building on Syracuse University’s campus to homes within the Syracuse City School District is provided at no-cost to participants.

Participants are provided with meal cards for breakfast and lunch on campus each day.

Dates

The exact program dates vary from year to year. Typically, the program begins the last week of June and continues through the first week of August.

Application deadline is April 19, 2024.
